A. Event conditions

1. Registration & payment

1.1 Registration for the event takes place via the registration form on the event landing page.

1.2 The participation fee is 299€ (plus VAT) and must be paid up to 30 days after the event. The organizer reserves individual discounts.

2. Cancellation conditions

2.1 Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start of the event.

2.2 In case of cancellation within the 2nd week before the start of the event, 50% of the participation fee is due.

2.3 If you cancel less than 1 week before the start of the event or if you do not show up, the entire participation fee will be withheld.

2.4 The cancellation conditions and costs also apply to participants who are invited to the event free of charge.

3rd Substitute participants

3.1 It is possible to appoint a replacement person free of charge up to one week before the start of the event.

4. Liability

4.1 Participation in the event is at your own risk. The organizer is not liable for damage caused by third parties or force majeure.

4.2 The organizer is only liable for damages based on an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the organizer, his legal representatives or vicarious agents.
The organizer is only liable for simple negligence if essential contractual obligations have been breached (cardinal obligations), limited to the typically foreseeable damage.
Any further liability — in particular for lost items, clothing or damage caused by third parties — is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

5. Hausordnung

5.1 Für die Durchführung der Veranstaltung gelten ergänzend die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen sowie die Hausordnung der PEG, Bereich Pyramide Mainz. Diese sind Bestandteil der Veranstaltungsbedingungen und von allen Teilnehmern und Gästen verbindlich zu beachten.

Der Veranstalter ist verpflichtet, seine Gäste auf die Geltung dieser Regelwerke hinzuweisen. Mit der Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung bzw. dem Betreten der Räumlichkeiten erkennen die Gäste die genannten Bestimmungen an.

B. Data protection information

1. Your registration & participation

As part of your registration and participation in our event, we process your personal data.

Purpose of data processing:
Your personal data will be processed to organize, carry out and follow up the event. In particular, this includes:

• participant administration (e.g. registration, confirmation of participation, invoicing, if applicable),
• communication in connection with the event,
• the creation of name tags, participant lists (visible to other participants, for example),

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1lit. b DSGVO (contract fulfilment or implementation of pre-contractual measures.

2. Use of photographs and videos

2.1 As part of the event, photos and videos will be taken to ensure visual documentation. These photographs and video recordings (including sound) are published by us for follow-up reporting on our intranet and on our website, as well as on social media. This does not create portraits or direct photos of you as a visitor to our event or events. Data processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 f) GDPR in order to document and promote the relevant event.

2.2 In all other cases, in particular in the case of portraits or direct images, processing is carried out solely on the basis of your prior consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) a) GDPR or Section 22 Art Copyright Act (“KUG”). The photographs and video recordings created are published by us on our intranet and on our website for follow-up reporting.

2.3 Werden durch Mitarbeiter der PEG, durch den Veranstalter oder von beauftragten Unternehmen Fotografien, Film- und/oder Videoaufnahmen im Bereich der Versammlungsstätte zur Berichterstattung oder zu Werbezwecken hergestellt, darf die Aufnahmetätigkeit nicht behindert oder in sonstiger Weise beeinträchtigt werden.

Alle Personen, die die Versammlungsstätte betreten oder sich dort aufhalten, werden durch die am Eingang aushängende Hausordnung auf die Durchführung von Foto-, Film- und Videoaufnahmen im Bereich der Versammlungsstätte hingewiesen. Durch das Betreten der Versammlungsstätte willigen diejenigen, die auf solchen Aufnahmen zu erkennen sind, darin ein, dass diese Aufnahmen sowohl zur Berichterstattung als auch zu Werbezwecken verwendet werden.

Im Übrigen gelten die Hinweise unter:
