Local Brand X: Hello Nisa, welcome to LBX, can you briefly introduce yourself?
Nisa: Hello my name is Nisa. I come from Mainz, I am 31 years old and have been new to Local Brand X in Marketing since February. I had previously worked in marketing for four years, in an agency and in a manufacturing company. I am pleased to be here.
Local Brand X: What is your everyday work like at Local Brand X and which projects are you currently working on?
Nisa: So far I have built many websites for our learning center, published blog posts for our magazine and posted them on our social media. It was great fun for me and I'm slowly getting into marketing topics and I'm just starting with the big topic of search engine optimization. I'm already looking forward to the new tasks and to making Local Brand X better known.
Local Brand X: You have been with us for a good month now, how was your start at Local Brand X?
Nisa: Very cool! We had a little debut and I was welcomed. I was trained directly and on the second day I implemented things that I could not do before, such as to maintain our website. Everything happens very quickly here and I feel comfortable.
Local Brand X: We are pleased. When you remember your first day at work, what were the thoughts that went through your head?
Nisa: * laughs * That's a good question. I think the first thing I noticed was that it was very quiet here. Despite the large office, everyone is sitting there and typing with concentration. You definitely notice the positive vibes and a relaxed atmosphere.
Local Brand X: Why did you decide to apply to Local Brand X at all?
Nisa: I was specifically looking for a part-time job. This is rare in marketing. I also found it very exciting to work in a start-up - especially one that is so up-to-date in marketing and ahead of its time. I liked a company that drives the industry forward, experiments and tries new things. The "Marketing Portal" product said nothing to me beforehand, but I found it extremely exciting and look forward to expanding marketing here and communicating the advantages of the product.
Local Brand X: Now we are not just a start-up but also a software company. What is it like not to work in a tech company as an IT specialist?
Nisa: Strange. * smiles * When the developers are talking, I understand almost nothing. But that's no problem. I have learned a lot in the 1.5 months. It's just another world that I didn't know before. I think I will find my way with the times and will learn a lot of new things. Still, I’ll never understand some IT topics in depth, but I don’t need that for marketing.
Local Brand X: That's right. Finally, I would like to talk about your personal highlight and know what was your best moment at Local Brand X so far?
Nisa: What I liked was the team breakfast last week. We all sat together and had breakfast, and I was allowed to introduce myself again and Yannik presented a few information about the company. I think it's particularly good that team events are promoted in this way.
Local Brand X: Again, welcome to the team! We look forward to working with you on our marketing.

More and more people are immersing themselves in new, digital worlds of work - regardless of whether their colleague works in India, the US or at home on the couch. Digitization does not stop at Mainz either.
The question of whether a social media account is worthwhile for a company should, in the meantime, be answered clearly for all entrepreneurs.
